YOU'RE INVITED TO THIS VIRTUAL PRESENTATION
BY CANON EXPLORER OF LIGHT, CHAS GLATZER
The Comprehensive Wildlife Photographer:
Enhance Your Technical Ability and Visual Sense
The ultimate goal of Chas Glatzer’s presentation is to put creative control back into the hands of you, the photographer, by sharing his five key ingredients to producing wildlife images with visual impact:
• Mastering the fundamentals like metering and exposure
• Becoming familiar with your equipment, including useful settings for wildlife photography
• Employing a proactive methodology to assess conditions quickly so you can make informed decisions in the field
• Knowing your subject through an understanding of animal behavior to approach wildlife and capture decisive moments
• Proper use of post-processing techniques in the digital darkroom
Chas will discuss how to simplify the scene through subject placement, shooting angle and the use of compositional elements like leading lines, negative space and symmetry. He’ll touch on tips and techniques for handling your gear in the field including advice for shooting in inclement weather.
Questions are welcomed and encouraged. You’ll walk away from this program with a renewed sense of confidence and a new mindset that will enable you to consistently produce creative, well-exposed and provocative storytelling images.
